Cluster Heads & Mounts

Cluster Tines are available in eight or ten groupings of Needle or Micro Hollow Tines. The Mi-crohollow is excellent for thatch removal and over-seed preparation. Set the depth to about 20mm (¾”) for over-seeding. Relieve surface compaction with Micro Hollow or Needle Tines down to 60mm (2 ½ ”) deep.

These disposable heads are available for attachment to the machine using a Cluster Mounting Flange available for Spigot Clamp (SC) or Draw Bolt (DB) mount.

Micro Hollow Cluster Tines

Use for rapid coverage close pattern Micro Hollow Tining down to 60mm (2 ½”) deep to improve surface drainage while relieving surface compaction. Very effective also for thatch removal and in preparation for over-seeding. Available in 8 and 10 clusters removing 8mm (5/16”) and 10mm (3/8”) diameter cores. Set the depth to about 20mm (3/4”) for over-seeding.

Cluster of 3/8'' Hollow Tines

Use for very close pattern Micro Hollow Tining at medium to shallow depth to enhance surface drainage while relieving surface compaction. Very effective also for thatch removal and in preparation for over - seeding.

Cluster of Eight Needle Tines 5/16"

Fast ground coverage for close pattern spiking throughout the summer and just before treatments such as fertilisation to encourage deeper rooting. No surface disruption.

Needle Cluster Tines

Fast ground coverage high density spiking throughout the summer for surface drainage and to encourage deeper rooting. Especially effective just before treatments such as fertilisation for better surface filtration to encourage faster deep rooting. Minimal surface disruption. Available in 8 and 10 Needle Tine Cluster 6mm (1/4”) and 8mm (3/8”) diameters.
